Date and time: Sunday, August 16th, 9:00am to 2:00pm Description: Healing Landscapes is a new program at Vesper Meadow, that connects the reciprocal benefit of hands-on, community-powered restoration work to our own health and wellness. Join Stasie Maxwell for a day of restoration for self and for the land. We’re continuing to work on our big riparian restoration project along Latgawa Creek, and we are excited to share more about the Low Tech Process-Based Restoration strategies we will be implementing with The Beaver Coalition. Join us as we “act like beavers” for creek habitat restoration. Activities include walking on uneven ground, options for moderate to heavy lifting. If you like getting your hands dirty, or just want to give back to your watershed, you are going to have a lot of fun! Please RSVP for this Free Event. Space is limited.
