DATE AND TIME

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
LOCATION
Vesper Meadow Restoration Preserve
DETAILS
Moderate activity Off-trail walking in the flat of the meadow and options for some to walk on gentle hill-slopes. Join us for a walk, a bid of weeding, and collecting seed from various native plants. You will be supporting efforts to restore native ecosystems of the region. We will collect seeds that will be used to replace non-native grasses at the Meadow with native grasses and forbs. These restored areas serve both pollinators and our efforts in partnership with the Indigenous Gardens Network, a Tribally-led partnership. These areas also serve as demonstration plots for educational events with youth and adult land stewards. We will provide information on species identification, pollinators, restoration strategies, and perspectives on conservation land management. Please RSVP for meet-up location, details, what to bring, etc. This event welcomes all, free of charge, and donations will be welcomed. Special Notes: As much as we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed except service animals. All visitors must sign the online waiver in advance of the visit.
