We will have hand-selected justice-oriented books on hand for reading including: How To Be Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi, My Grandmother's Hands - Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Healing Our Hearts and Bodies by Resmaa Menakem, The Water Remembers: My Indigenous Family's Fight to Save a River and a Way of Life by local author Amy Bowers Cordalis, and more! Agenda: Intros/welcome + intention setting 1 hour of reading (we have some chairs available - feel free to bring your own chair or hammock!) 2 hours of seeding native plant gardens + sharing with others what we learning Closing circle + Planting Seeds of Justice Challenge
